Become a Friend

A good way to support the Project, and stay in touch with its work, is
to become a Friend.
Objectives of IHA-UDP
-
To improve the quality of life of the
poorest of the poor wherever IHA-UDP is operating, by addressing the
multiple inter-related needs of the community at grassroots level
-
To enable the community to become
self-sufficient in every aspect so that all development activities
become sustainable beyond project phase-out
Purpose of the 'Friends of IHA-UDP'
-
To assist the sustainability of the
Project in the poorest slums of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
-
To continue to pray for slums where
intervention has taken place in Woreda 3, Kebeles 30, 41, 42 and 43
and is taking place in Woreda 23, Kebele 8
-
To give prayer for the proposed Urban
Workers Institute, an academic centre for the study of an holistic
approach to urban ministry; and to unite Christian denominations by
seeking common ground so that they can implement the Lord’s teaching
in Matthew 25
